This is a lens I've been wanting for ages and years. I initially wanted the IS version, but after some research, this one was more for me.
I like to tell Justin that "if you wait, it will come." This seems to happen often that if you have patience a deal will pop up eventually. I didn't have to wait long for this one, maybe a week after serious looking. There was a sale on the Canon refurbished site with an additional 20% off coupon. This hardly ever happens, btw.
I took it out for a spin this afternoon in the yard and am already head over heals in love.
